What happens after I post an application? How long does it take to get a response?
After your application has been posted it is looked at by a member of the Applications Team. Successful applications will receive the initial acceptance message from an applications team member.
If you do not receive a response this unfortunately means that we are not going to be pursuing this application. Due to the high volume of applicants we can't reply to each by hand.
I posted an application but I haven’t received a reply?
Due to the high volume of applications we cannot reply to each one by hand. This means if you have not received a response unfortunately we are not going to be pursuing your application.
Please do not message an applications team member to ask them to review your application if you have not received a response. We recommend having another read over our guides, or taking some time to build up more experience. You may submit another application in two month's time, but again we cannot guarantee that you will be successful.
I messaged an Applications Team member and I haven’t received a reply, what do I do?
Our applications team consists of DcRubik, BlueHunter_x, Kivvy and . Applications Team members get a lot of messages on the forums so please allow up to 10 days before you bump the conversation. Particularly for more complex messages that require lengthy responses.
If your message is to enquire about why your application did not pass initial stage of acceptance, unfortunately you will not receive a response due to the large amount of applications we get. We recommend having another read over our guides, or taking some time to build up more experience.
If I apply and do not receive a response, when can I reapply?
If you do not receive a response then unfortunately it means we are not going to be pursuing your application. Due to the high volume of applicants we can't reply to each one by hand. You are permitted to reapply 2 months after you posted your latest application, but again we cannot guarantee that you will be successful.
Please note if you apply before this you will be instantly denied and made to wait another 2 months.
Does it matter how many times I have applied and been denied?
Not necessarily, you are free to apply as many times as you like. However, if you have posted a significant amount of applications and still seem to not be getting anywhere; we would recommend taking time to completely re-evaluate your application and try to change it up in line with our guides or spending time building up more experience.
I have posted so many applications and I keep getting the same response. What should I do?
It is beneficial to be self-aware of your skills and experiences and how they fit with the Helper role as this makes the transition between player and Helper much easier. They are supposed to be a reflection of your skills, your passion, your personality and most importantly a demonstration of why you are capable of taking on the Helper role.
If you are still not getting an acceptance message. We suggest you read your application and adopt the mindset of: “If I didn’t know myself would this application be sufficient to show that I have the skillset to be a Helper”?. Alongside this it may be because you need to spend time building up some more experience before you will be considered for the helper role.
When I reapply can I use the same application?
What application you choose to submit is up to you, however we'd always recommend giving your application a bit of an update each time you submit it. This is to make sure you're updating it based on any feedback that we've given you, and to include information about any relevant experience or skills you may have developed since your last application.
